The Nadi leaf library in Tamil Nadu
Before you pay a stranger overseas for a personal reading, it is fair to ask where your leaf actually comes from. Not a database, not a generic chart, but a real library of physical, centuries-old manuscripts in Tamil Nadu.
01What it holds
What the library actually holds
Nadi Leaves are ancient manuscripts written by enlightened sages thousands of years ago, who foresaw the lives of millions of souls. Tradition holds that these were written among Sri Agastya’s sacred palm leaves, connecting each reading to the individual it was written for. The leaves are organised into bundles called an olai chuvadi (ஒலைச் சுவடி), literally a palm-leaf book, each holding many individual leaves, kept and read the same way for generations.
02The search
How your own leaf is found among thousands
No one searches by name. Depending on your thumbprint pattern, bundles of palm leaves are selected from the palm leaf library, then narrowed further by your gender and your country of birth, until the leaf written for you is identified. Not every leaf is found on the first search. We search up to three times at no extra cost, and if it is still not found after the third search, you receive a 100% refund.

Who keeps this tradition alive
The library is not a warehouse. It is kept by named gurujis who have spent their working lives with these manuscripts, reading them the way their own teachers did, supported by the coordinators and moderators who schedule your session and translate on the call.

Once it is found
What you receive once your leaf is identified.
- Your reading is delivered live, on Zoom, by a reader from the library, translated for you as it happens, in English, Tamil or Hindi.
- You are not sent a written summary. You receive the full video recording of your own session and a photograph of the actual palm leaf your reading came from.

About the library
Questions people ask.
Is the Nadi leaf library a real physical place?
Yes. It is a real, centuries-old collection of palm-leaf manuscripts in Tamil Nadu, not a database or a generated chart. The leaves are searched for by hand, and our gurujis read directly from the physical leaf during your live session.
How is my own leaf identified among so many?
By your thumbprint pattern, narrowed further by your gender and your country of birth. No name or date of birth is used to search. That is how a genuine Nadi search differs from a birth-chart reading like a Kundli or horoscope.
What if my leaf cannot be found in the library?
We search up to three times at no extra cost. If your leaf is still not found after the third search, you receive a 100% refund, as set out in our refund policy.
Who actually searches for and reads my leaf?
Named gurujis from our library in Tamil Nadu, each of whom has spent their working life with these manuscripts. You can see who they are on our About page.
Can I get this reading if I do not live in India?
Yes. Your leaf is identified using your thumbprint, gender and country of birth, not your address, and the reading itself happens live over Zoom, translated for you as it happens in English, Tamil or Hindi. You do not need to travel or be in India. The same session runs the same way from any country.
